Another right wing anti-Semitic whack job writes a blog article attacking FDR for causing Pearl Harbor and having it covered up by an alleged Jewish Conspiracy. I compare and contrast the main thesis of FDR’s policy and foreknowledge as compared to an even more infamous attack, namely 9/11. Noting the details of who, when and where one president had them and the other only vague notions, and how conservatives believe that FDR was an airtight conspiracy case and Bush could not have known. I did it to show how skewed they were in looking at the facts in the FDR case. It was unavoidable that I point out, again, what idiots the Bush people are.

You are welcome to open a new thread to argue your crude analysis.* You are not welcome to interrupt an existing thread discussing whether there was actually a conspiracy by FDR to encourage or permit the attack on Pearl Harbor with a separate rant about Republicans always being in the wrong.

That’s not the point. Some asshole right wing anti-Semite takes a tired old swipe at FDR about Pearl Harbor, deserving of pretty much the same back, and gets it, and the mod gets all huffy about me being unfair to Republicans. I’m guessing that the mod is probably really a Democrat, a Harry Reid style democrat who is afraid that Democrats should not be seen to be giving as good as they get.

As a long-time Birchite-lite Conspiracy buff, it was the “Bush knew” crowd that got me having second thoughts about how much FDR did know in advance about Pearl Harbor.
I think tomndebb got it right. It was legitimate to mention 9/11, but the problem is that Second Stone couldn’t resist the urge to get a political jab into his or her post.
