UFC profit margin

I am an avid mma (mixed martial arts) fan and I've tried to post this on Sherdog.com but it won't let me start a thread. That's why I'm asking it here

I am curious if anybody has any real hard data on what the profit margin is for the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) for cost of doing business vs. profit made.

The reason I ask is I read in Fight Magazine that they made 2.5 million for ppv receipts and another 2.5 million for the gate receipts.

People always bitch about Dana White , Prez, being a cheap fuck and not paying the fighters enough, but no one can give any hard data whether UFC has a thin PM or a thick PM.

I know there's an extremely large difference between fighter pay. IIRC, Noguera got paid $300,000 in a LOSING effort for his last fight. Just for showing up. Other undercards made <$10,000.

Here's a list of some historical fights.

Zuffa, LLC is a privately held company, so there are no reporting requirements. They tend to hold their cards pretty close to their chest about profit margins, and whatever information one gets is usually whatever Dana and the Fertitta brothers care to release. The only article I could find speculating about profits is a little over a year old:

Behind the Curtain: Zuffa's Finances Come Into Focus

Would their tax filing statements be considered private?
