I'm looking for a graphic of a butler that's public domain

Subject says it all, really. I'm looking for a graphic of a butler that's in the public domain. I've been to (for example) Clipartguide.com and their links to such images have expired, and the thumbnails have the site's title on them, so are useless. Other sites I've visited say their images are copyright or want payment or do not give the status of the image or restrict the usage. This is to go on my business card, so simplicity would be good. A fledgling business does not want to be troubled with international copyright issues!

just a thought, as I don't have limited time to look right now, but try searching in different languages. Butler in Spanish, for example, is Mayordomo.

Try searching on illustrations of Dickens' works. They are all in the public domain. Here are some of the artists, although few illustrations at this site.

Also try one of the other Cruickshank family of illustrators. Rowlandson and Gilray may work, but their style is probably much too cartoonish.

Also try looking in the Illustrated Police Gazette. Some old Jane Austen illustrations have servants in them - there's a site called "Pemberley" or something which has a lot of illustrations along those lines. Ah, here it is in my bookmarks: http://www.pemberley.com/janeinfo/pembfun/victcfsh.html

As other search terms, you might try "servant" or "manservant." Sorry, I'd do some searches for you, but I'm at a place where my net access is limited, so all I can do, sadly, is suggest.

Search on "Monkey Brand Soap", there are a few great adverts in the public domain by them featuring monkey butlers. I have a very large scan of one in my gallery (sorry, can't link to it from here, but it you really want it I can mail it to you).

That depends - whether or not something is or is not public domain is independent of it existing on Wikipedia. Some items are, some fall under the GNU license, some are "presumed public domain", and some are clearly copyright violations.
