A Resounding Silence....

Yep…here to “Pit” the lot of them.

Politicians, The Military, The “Talking Heads”…

The Oligarchs of every country and every ‘Form of Government.’

See…sshhhh…the thing is…to keep the sheeple working.

No, no. Not just the janitors or the garbage men or the convenience store workers…but also the “Middle Class” folks who really believe that they may become millionaires or billionaires one day.

These cruel, unjust, indifferent governments around the world CANNOT keep functioning without the consent of… the rest of us.

And…we keep giving them our money and our consent.

Why is that? Especially when, at the same time, we work so hard to give them our $$$ ???

The RICH cannot be “rich” without our consent.
The POWERFUL cannot be “powerful” without our consent.

We aid them. We abet them. We enable them.

With our work. Our production. Our work ethic.

Good for us. But waaaaay ‘gooder’ for them.

Do we EVER hear MSNBC “Talking Heads” tell the truth about their ‘Parent Companies’ or the deals they strike for their fantastic wages?

No.

The Government. Business. The Military.

Three huge “Goliaths” to overcome.

Perhaps the serfs will become sick of funding them one day.

Yay! Revolution.

Just curious, what do you propose replacing government with?

Incorrect, alas. All they need is our acquiescence.

I propose not replacing government with anything at all…except folks who have something more than their own personal gain at heart.

Naive?

What a shame.

It really is a “shame.”

Ever notice how Politicians LOVE to describe themselves as “Public SERVANTS”? And rant on about one another how they’ve given (however many) years to “…serving the public.”

HA!

They KNOW they are “serving” Business and their own personal fortunes and the Military.

“Public” (and ESPECIALLY) “SERVANTS” our asses.

Can we let them get away with calling themselves that anymore?

But how do we get REAL “Public Servants” into our government anymore?

I’m just meek because I reckon that we meeks might inherit the earth one day.

Either that, or

I suspect our young OP has just enrolled in Sociological Perspectives: Anarchy 101

How droll Kambuckta.

This sixty-something “OP” has been involved in politics since I helped start the first “Young Republicans” club on campus with the help of my Political Science/Philosophy professor in the 60s.

If YOU believe there is no distance between what we live with now and “anarchy”…well, I guess that’s why the sheeple ‘sound machine’ keeps the status quo functioning.

Oh how I love being called a sheepl. It makes me feel all grown up.

Oh wait, no. That’s not it.

There’s only one thing more amusing and cringeworthy than a young pol. science/philosophy student.

:stuck_out_tongue:

We’re gonna need a hell of a long wall to line up all those people against. Maybe we could ask China if we could borrow theirs.

And is there some sort of Godwin’s Law covering use of the term “sheeple”? Because I’ve yet to see it used seriously in any context that didn’t eventually reveal the user to be a frothing idiot.

(Ob XKCD link)

Oh, forgot to add that I was one of those many years ago too. Makes ME cringe to think about all the shit I spouted to anyone within earshot.

Here’s a tissue. Please wipe the spittle flecks from your face, then explain what the hell it is you’re ranting about. In English, this time, please.

Thank you.

So you’re saying this is your fault?

Well, my “fault” in the sense that people get the government they “deserve.”

When less than half the eligible voters, vote - what can one do?

What is the resistence to publicly funded national campaigns to get the business interests out of the campaigns of our legislators?

What makes Democratic Senators fight the regulation of banks?

What makes ANY legislator vote against auditing the Fed?

Money.

Their jobs. Their individual corporate fiefdoms of our legislators - where they may NOT be mult-millionaires or billionaires themselves…but they have the POWER to write the law that affects the money-making power of those monied folks.

So…they must be courted. They must be bought.

A trade.

Simple, really.

And yes, it shouldn’t take much more than the thought and common sense of a young college student to figure it out.

So why does this cycle continue. And continue?

Did you know?

Paragraphs can.

Be.

More than one sentence.

Long?

Money makes the world go around, the world go around, the world go around. Money makes the world go around, it makes the world go 'round.

:stuck_out_tongue:

I wish the OP would end his posts with

Burma

Shave

I also wish he’d realize that Soylent Government is made made of people!

At least we have a prophetic frothel to tell the sheppl they are being eaten by the gluttonous.

Fo sheeple my nipple… no wait…
