Should I get a tattoo of a luchador being shot out of a cannon?

It would be pretty big. cannon under my arm and the luchador flying across my abs/chest.

This sounds like the right thing to do then, thank you. Should the luchador be being fired into a man-sized robot, waiting to punch him out of mid-air?

If you are serious, I know a half dozen tattoo artists that would absolutely love to design that.

That's stupid. The robot should be holding a chainsaw and riding on a motorcycle powered by rockets.

Seriously, they could make that work, chainsaws, robots and all.

I'm open to suggestions. I don't want it to be *too* badass though; it should be absurd without trying to hard if you're picking up what I'm putting down. I want to keep it clean and not go overboard.

I'd kinda like to have the robot have boxing gloves, winding up for a Balrog super punch.

Man, I'm serious. I've even cleared this with my gf.

Note also that I have no other tattoos (and am set to enter a very serious, conservative profession very soon.)

Well, your serious, conservative co-workers are not likely to ever see you with your shirt off.

well...not necessarily true. I'll have to wear an undershirt all the time though which could suck in certain climes.

I live in LA where it gets really very hot sometimes, and I work in a very conservative profession. It's not that bad having to wear an undershirt and you don't need one all the time if you are only wearing it to cover up your tats, only when you wear light colored shirts. Invest in a lot of black, dark blue and striped shirts and you can be undershirt free if you like.

My feeling is, again if you are actually serious, that if you have to ask the question, you shouldn't get the tattoo.

Which question? I'm just here trying to pin down exactly how I want this to go.

The question of should I. If you are questioning any of it, you aren't ready for it yet.

I take that back, if you are questioning a minor design element don't worry about that, but work that stuff out with your artist. I find it's best to let your artist give you some input anyway. But if you are questioning the idea of getting the tattoo, then I would say the answer is always no.
