M-o-o-n spells TEN???

The other day, my team was having its morning teleconference with our customer. We went through the normal routine, and at the very end, as if giving an inspirational saying, my customer said “M-o-o-n spells ten.”

Any idea what this means? I’m dumbfounded.

It’s a reference to Stephen King’s The Stand. It’s the catchphrase of a character called Tom Cullen, who says “M-O-O-N spells (something)”.

It’s a reference to the character Tom Cullen from Stephen King’s The Stand. Tom Cullen, who is retarded, believes every word is spelled M-O-O-N.

EDIT: See you in hell Kiyoshi!:wink:

Thanks! I guess that was too easy… I’m surprised google didn’t find it for me.

If the customer of your project is imitating a fictional retarded character, I fear for either your project or your sanity.

I like this guy! Funny!

A *magical *retarded character - don’t forget that. All of Stephen King’s developmentally disabled males (and man, does he have a lot of those) have supernatural powers.

I believe the correct response to your customer would be, “Baby can you dig your man?” Try it on him next time.

Also black people and dogs.

“He’s a righteous man” is the correct response, FYI.

I was sure this would be something like “g-h-o-t-i = fish.”
