This looks like mostly a list of George's songs, which is sad. I chose Old Brown Shoe because it's always the song that I think "Eh, I don't need to listen to this." But then I do and I think "Holy crap, this is a great song. Why did I think I didn't like it?"

I'm finding that in most of these polls, I'm picking a song that communicates simple feelings and desires that most people have felt. This is a perfect example.

What album is "Wait" on? I love that song, can't believe it got zero votes! I could see it not being the big winner when all the votes were tallied, but zero? Easily my favorite from the above list, easily.
I quite like "The Word". Even as a child attracted to flash over substance, even then I always hated "Magical Mystery Tour". Quote:
I love The Kinks, quite like The Kinks' original version of this song- from one of my all-time favorite albums. How does: Like Herman's Hermits + Like this song = HATE Herman's Hermits doing this song? Don't know how, but that's the way it is.

Yeah, I love the opening for MMT, especially when they harmonize on "roll up for the Mystery Tour". Speaking of forgotten tracks, I had my Beatles folder on random play last night and wondered if a Shins song had somehow crept into the mix. Turns out it was "Long, Long, Long" from the White Album. I usually just cherry pick the most well known tracks from the WA, so it was a nice "discovery" for me. Rack up another great song for George.

I've been buying the remastered discs* whenever they go on sale, and I think I have all of these "Legion of Substitute Super-Songs" tracks. *ps: I call them the "Ringo and George are amazing!" editions-- I'm hearing riffs (and bongos!) that I never did before.
