Any other Blue Mountain State fans?

I picked up the dvd set a couple of weeks ago and I've been watching it. And I have to say I've been enjoying the show quite a bit.

Very raunchy humor (although due to its network restrictions it has no nudity) and I like the fact that it doesn't pull back from its raunchiness. Too many shows try to fake it. If this show tells a joke about abusing drugs or masturbating in public or having sex with a transvestite hooker, the characters actually go through with it.

My favorite character? Thad.

It's a sitcom about a college football team. It runs on Spike TV network. And you can watch episodes online.

Ok, OK! Yeah I watch it. But if you ever repeat that, I'll deny it!

Definitely a guilty pleasure.

I watched the first episode of Hellcats hoping it would be a female version of BMS, but I was sorely disappointed.

I didn't know this show existed until I saw ads for the 2nd season premiere. I watched that and another episode from last season they ran. Ugh. Really, really awful.

The writers have obviously no clue at all about modern college students. E.g., the bit with the brother and sister ...
SPOILER:
kissing. The gang got grossed out and begged them to stop. Nope, not in reality. Quite the opposite.

From Wikipedia's article on the show:

Quote:
Joe Walljasper of the Columbia Daily Tribune describes the series as appealing to those who viewed the film Porky's and "felt that the jokes were a little too high-brow."
Says it all.
