It appears to me that with 219 views the thread title has attracted some minor interest (in some way or another) in the concept. But with no replies I can only wonder what that interest may be.

Just to provide a little backstory on why I started the thread and what I had hoped might generate some conversation, here are some things to look at further -- if the interest is more than just casual.
