Springtime for Kinky Friedman

Just saw him tonight at Knuckleheads Saloon in Kansas City, MO with a solo acoustic show. Nice guy, great storyteller and all-around entertainer. He's headed East. Catch him if you can.

He had far too few copies of his new book about his heroes with him and they sold out the last copy while at least 50 people were still in line to have things signed after the show.

I wish I could go. It just so happens that he's in town the same night we're going to see Roy Clark. If I'd known about both shows at the time, I'd probably have opted for Kinky (although who knows how many more chances there'll be to see Roy).
