Spike TV had a short segment on prostitution and claimed that the way to pick up a prostitute and avoid getting busted in an undercover sting was to say that you want to hire someone for some nude modeling. The idea being that a cop would not agree to this and that there is nothing wrong with paying someone to model nude for you.
I also wondered if asking her to show her boobs before any arrangements are made would keep one safe from being busted. No cop would agree to this and I don’t know that it’s illegal to ask someone to do so.
Are either of these effective ways to keep your ass out of jail?
They already have this idea in almost every Yellow Pages in America. They are called escort services. You can certainly call one and get a date for the night without going to jail. You are paying for companionship or something which isn’t illegal. Often the person you hire is so overcome with lust from your devilishly good looks and irresistible personality that they just can’t help themselves and shower you with sexual freebies. The most successful ones tend to fall in love quite easily usually within just minutes of meeting their date.
**I have no experience with escort services but it is an established business model that somebody is using quite frequently based on the number of ads out there. They don’t usually get in trouble for it as long as there is no promise or talk of sex upfront.
If you approach an undercover cop looking for a prositute, there’s a good chance you will get busted no matter what you say or do. With your scenario, you would have to get the undercover cop to go somewhere with you and take off his/her clothes for money without making a deal for sex. He/she will be trying to get you to mention sex the whole time. Once the clothes come off, and it turns out to be a real prostitute, he/she will want to charge you for both the nude modeling and the sex. Why don’t you just go out to bars and get laid for the price of a few drinks like everyone else does?
Streetwalkers don’t nude model. They want their money for minimal work – giving a handy, a BJ, tricking you into thinking intercural contact conducted in a alleyway is in fact penetrative intercourse, or perhaps, robbing you, then promptly using the cash, to pay off their pimp, buy drugs, go party in some other way, or cover their expenses, then knock off early.
And streetwalkers are still members of our culture, we have restricted venues and situations where public toplessness is acceptable. Your need for proof won’t necessarily override that. They’ve done all the work they intend to do already – hanging out in cheap clothes in a bad part of town asking if you wanna party.
The cop wouldn’t do so, but would the hooker? She’s probably not inclined to give out freebies, even of the “look but don’t touch” variety. And if you’ve already raised the subject of payment, then it’s probably too late for your defense.
If you’re only concerned about your own legal liability, and not that of the prostitute, the simplest method is just to let her be the one to raise the subject. Approach one and say something noncommittal like “Hey, baby”, or “Lookin’ good”, or whatever, and she’s likely to offer a business proposition. Of course, this does leave her open to stings, but many of them just don’t care.

I’d heard that was a common streetwalker scam, keep your thighs together and you can fool a very horny john into thinking penetration happened. Streetwalkers can’t have repeated penetrative intercourse sessions over the space of a night, it’s too exhausting, and wastes time – time off the street is an opportunity missed.
Of course there’s a substitute for sex with someone who wants to have sex with you. It’s called a prostitute.
The same way a substitute teacher is called if the regular teacher can’t show up. The same way that sugar substitutes are used by people who don’t want to consume sugar. The same way you can substitute vegetable oil in a recipe if you don’t have any butter.
Prostitutes fill a need that men have. Whether or not you personally have the need, other men do, or there wouldn’t be prostitution. The notion that a man “should just get laid the normal way, by buying girls drinks in a bar” is absurd…not every man wants to go through that bullshit just to get laid. Some would rather just pay money up front and be done with it.
So if the “hooker” said “Fine, I’ll show you my tits for $5” and you, figuring that’s a cheap way to see if she’s a cop or not, hand her the $5, could you get busted for that? Is that illegal? I’m not sure.
My guess is that she would probably say something hookerish like “C’mon buddy I don’t have time for this, if you’re lookin’ to get laid, pony up the cash, otherwise keep moving, I got real customers”
