FYI: This time a guest won who had zero posts/threads, but he wasn’t banned and had become a guest in March, so since I didn’t have a rule against it, he’s now a paid member for a year. What do y’all think? Want me to make a rule like that?

I don’t think there is anything wrong with giving it to a new poster. Maybe they’ve been lurking for several years and your offer of a free membership is what got them to finally sign up.
Of course there is always the chance that they are a troll and will get banned soon but it’s your money and if you want to give it to a new poster then I say go for it.
That how’s I became a part of the boards. I WAS just a lurker until **Diogenes/Boozahol the Squid PI **found me and paid for a year’s account. Once i had that, i HAD to start posting more.
Right before what we call “The Troubles” (sorry Ireland, I know that term belongs to y’all!) I had to ask for someone to pay my membership as well.
I apologize that I do not remember my friend’s name, but I am very grateful, and this is one of many reasons D and I are doing this: we want to (sorry it’s become a cliche’) pay it forward.
Quasi, It’s really great of you to do this, and really fun for all of us. Question: Where can I find a list of the Easter winners? I must have missed that post.
