How much does the earbud from Ipod classic worth?

…if they are sold seperarely, judging by their quality, how much would they worth?

Somewhere around $8 on ebay.

I can’t find any “earbud” collectors anywhere on the web(or in real life), so i would say approximately $0.

Is that for specifically iPod classic earbuds, or just for a set of buds in general?

Is there really such a thing as “iPod Classic earbuds?”

ETA: The price I gave was for genuine Apple last-generation earbuds.

Judging by the quality of sound coming out of them, Apple should send me $8 for accepting the free one that comes with an iPod.

AFAIK all white earbuds are same within a given generation; nothing is specific to Classic.

7 bucks. Or for the same price you could go down one in the Amazon search and get actual in-ear phones, which sound better and don’t destroy your hearing.

They are sold separately. You can buy them from Apple for $30 (or at least, you could, until they replaced them with a revised model).

If anyone else sold them they’d be $15. They’re nothing special.

Negative two million dollars.

Any earbuds directly from Apple were designed by Torquemada.

How are in-ear phones better than ordinary earbuds in terms of the possibility of causing hearing damage? They are much closer to the ears than the latter.

Because, say people with earbuds are walking to the silhouette dance party, or whatever Apple thinks they do. Then they enter an area with heavy traffic. Because the buds don’t seal with the ear, many people turn up the volume to excessive levels just so they can hear the music. In general, more background noise is blocked out with properly fitting in-ears, so they don’t need to boost the volume as much.

Exactly. Those moronic perfectly round ones are the most evil round device from Apple since the original iMac mouse. They are designed for mannequins, who apparently do have perfectly round ear holes. The first thing I do with any newly purchased Apple iPod or iPhone is to cut the cord on the headphones in half, to prevent any humans from being endangered.

Heck, the Philips “Peanut” earphones are dramatically better and sell for $5.99 at Walgreens. They are my go-to if I am stuck somewhere without a pair of headphones.

The newer in-ear iPod earphones are better then the old ones, which were total crap. I have no idea how Apple thought the ones they used for years were acceptable in any way.
