This seller does have 100 percent feedback and over 100 pairs sold. I know there are some ipod earphones which are definitely fake and those sell for like $3 or so. But are these legit? I know apple has new earphones like this one
I have no idea, but I can at least believe that some of the people who have bought an iPod didn’t want to use the earbuds that came with it, either because they didn’t fit or they wanted something with better sound quality. So I can believe that there are never-used Apple earbuds available out there, especially after reading this thread.
The earbuds that come with i devices are horrible, so I can believe that there are more that get tossed unused than offered for sale. Mine certainly did.
I knew a number of people back in the day who just tossed the earbuds. As Doug K. states, they were thought of as kind of crappy–popular with housewives and high school students. A selling price of $8 seems quite realistic.
I’d imagine there a countless unused iPhone earphones floating about so no reason to think they’re not real. I have a couple of unused ones that i would put on eBay if i had the energy to do it. But since I consider myself benevolent I don’t want to inflict any more crappy cheap earphones on the world. if you value sound quality or the sanity of the people who sit near you on your daily commute then buy something else.
I’ve probably got 6 or 8 unused pair lying around. Used them once, hated the feel and went on a search for something (anything) more comfortable. As for the ones on eBay, I suspect that Apple has an exclusive with the factory in China but allows a certain number to be sold wholesale after a certain length of time or they switch factories and the old one just dumps their remaining inventory.
While we’re on the subject; in the ear suck, on the ear are O.K. so long as they aren’t to tight and over the ear are best, but you can’t use them to jog or workout. I’ve got a pair of Bluetooth Harman Kardin over the ear that sound absolutely awesome, but only good for about 2 hrs before they begin to feel a bit “heavy”. Oh, and forget about using them outdoors in the sumner in Florida.
