Busch said Driscoll repeatedly asserted her assassin status and claimed the work took her on missions across Central and South America and Africa. He recounted one time when the couple was in El Paso, Texas. He said Driscoll left in camouflage gear only to return later wearing a trench coat over an evening gown covered with blood.
A day earlier, Busch said his ex-girlfriend told him she was a mercenary who killed people for a living and had shown him pictures of bodies with gunshot wounds.
Busch said Tuesday that Driscoll had claimed that a female character in “Zero Dark Thirty,” a film depicting the CIA’s hunt for Osama bin Laden, was a composite of her and other women.
Last month, Michael Doncheff, who served as a personal assistant to Busch and Driscoll, said an ailing Driscoll told him in September that she had been picked up by a big man and slammed to the ground while helping round up immigrants at the Mexican border, a story Doncheff considered “far-fetched.”
Doncheff said Driscoll also asserted that she was a trained assassin for the U.S. government and once told him, “I take down foreign governments. I own Washington.”
This is so bizarre.
I don’t follow NASCAR, but this is such an odd story. NPRquoted the AP as saying that:

but the AP article cited by NPR didn’t actually contain that line. So I’m not sure if it’s only Busch, or Busch and others, saying that Driscoll claimed to be an assassin.
Driscoll does apparently work for some kind of defense consulting company, but their advertised services seem to be related to surveillance and other technologies (not that actual mercenaries would advertise head-of-state-assassinations on their website)
Sounds like she’s the crazy one. She said in the article Busch made those allegations based on a screenplay she’s been working on for the past 8 years, but she’s told other people besides Busch that she was a super soldier and helped kill Bin Ladin.
Makes you wonder why they broke up. I mean, if a NASCAR driver and a government assassin can’t make a go of it in this topsy-turvy world, what hope is there for any of us?
Or a light hearted family spy series. He races cars, she uses his racing to disguise her activities. Traveling with him from track to track on secret government missions. Although I don’t know how many exciting spy stories you can set in Lincoln AL or Long Pand PA.

She may not be an assassin, but she sure has a very cool resume.
So that is dated 2006… and according to her wiki page, she was born in 1977… how does a 29 year old get access to those other people listed on the FDS website, and where did the money come from to form the company, which lists her as CEO?
The Armed Forces Foundation website says Miss Driscoll became it’s President in 2003, when she was just 25 or 26 years old. It claims to raise more than $10 million annually and to have somehow spent more than $95 million in “assistance” to service members and their families since it’s inception.
