These are all songs that hit the top of the Canadian pop charts. Any * next to an artist’s name denotes that said artist is Canadian. This is because a Doper asked me in the previous poll if any Canadian band were among the poll list.
Previous polls are always open to voting, in case you missed it:
The Rascals had good songs this year, two of it got my vote, two Beatles entries except “Penny Lane”, Spencer Davis, Royal Guardsmen, Mamas and Papas, Association(“Windy”), Marvin and Tammi, Spanky and Our Gang. Oh and the Box Tops and Bobbie Gentry.
Procol Harum, Jefferson Airplane, Doors did not get my vote. Don’t like any of those songs.
“Kind Of A Drag”-The Buckinghams
“Love Is Here and Now You’re Gone”-The Supremes
“A Whiter Shade of Pale”-Procol Harum
“How Can I Be Sure”-Young Rascals
“Windy” is dead-ass last, just behind “Georgy Girl.”
