California Politician Syndrome

After seeing this Gary Condit fellow on TV all the time lately, something has occurred to me. Do all other white male Californian political figures in recent memory resemble eels?
I'm thinking of Pete Wilson, Jerry Brown, Gray Davis, and Ronald Reagan. All have the same leathery face-lifted look, and the same sphincter-like mouth. Not to mention the worst possible taste in hair styling. They look like eels that go to Supercuts. Richard Nixon may have had a form of this syndrome later in his life.
Do all Californians look like this or just the politicians? Is it because they are using desalinated water or something of the sort in California?

It's not so much that they're Californians as they're aliens. That's right, aliens have taken over California. They use mind contol rays beamed through the media to help them win positions of power. These same aliens have worked their way into all of the states and have reached the pinnacles of governmental power in Washington D.C.

If you've seen that great John Carpenter documentary "They Live" you know what I'm talking about.
