I think a reading circle would be a good idea in this forum. However, I don't know if enough people would be up for it so this is just a tryout. The book I propose we read is The Outsider by Albert Camus. If we get a decent number of folks involved (say, 10+) then we can begin reading this time next week. Post if you want to do it.

Good idea, but I'm in school until December. I hope you're still reading in circles when I graduate, then I'll join you for sure.

I would suggest you do some searching and look at the previous attempts at doing this. I participated in one and the discussion part never went anywhere.

I'm not trying to discourage you, just encouraging you to see how things ran before and you migh have ideas that will make this one more successful.

I'm open to the idea by the thought of reading Camus again makes my skin crawl. I'll keep an eye out for the next selection.

That book gave me nightmares, I don't know why.

Hey, I'll go for it. Camus leaves me a bit desolate-feeling, but he's well worth the read.

I'll jump in at the next book. I'm feeling blue enough as it is without reading Camus....
