We do not want, and have never wanted, to have a flurry of rules as if we were a legal system. We don’t have the time to write them up, and we’d just have [del]smart-ass[/del] bright lawyer-types trying to find loopholes to justify evasion.

It’s possible to disagree with someone without resorting to throwing things at them, calling them names, etc.

Imagine if you could and then, just now, when you tried to preview your post you couldn’t because you had yourself on ignore. Or maybe as you typed your post, the words just never appeared in the typie box.
And then every time you spoke, you’d not know what the hell you just said because you were ignoring yourself.
