In various thread around here, “fluff girls” have been mentioned. They are the ladies who’s job it is to arouse a male porn star’s member between um, shots. I got to thinking about it, and realized that some are probably better at it than others, or prettier, or both, and that the porn stars probably have their favorites. Is that the case? Is there a hierarchy of fluff girls? Do they develop reps that they trade on? Is there such a thing as a fluff girl star?
I already like the direction this thread is going. I want to know now too. Pics would help too. 
A WAG, but I’m speculating that at that level of the adult film industry the main job requirement is the willingness to work for a minimum of pay.
…and be willing to have one’s teeth removed.
…and possibly the potential to get screen work. I would suspect that the better fluff girls get their own chance to star in a movie. And isn’t that what life’s all about–sucking cock for the chance to be a star.

Fluffers used to exist, but are rarely used any more. The porn companies shoot on very low budgets… no way they’re going to shell out for someone who’s gonna do some deeds if those deeds aren’t going to appear on tape.

Fluffers being men? Good heavens, no! … well, I guess it depends on the type of porn.
It all reminds me of Norm MacDonald’s riff about having discovered a job worse than “crack whore” … “assistant crack whore”.
Which is not to be taken as a knock on the fluff girl-American community as a whole, and if there are any fluff girl-Americans in the audience I would like to take the first opportunity to say that I have always found their culture of great interest, and in a perfect world some of my best friends would be fluff girl-Americans.

I remember an article in Playboy many years ago… it was when I was old enough that I actually wanted to read an article here or there. Anyway, this particular article was by a porn star, I forget her name now, but she was famous at the time. She said that she got her start as a fluffer. She said that she didn’t get paid, but was sometimes allowed bit parts in movies which got her the exposure (there’s an understatement) that she needed to get her start. She had a lot of funny, ‘arousing’ stories to tell… I imagine that quite a few porn stars got their start as fluffers.
Also, I saw on Howard Stern the other day the porn star known as Houston was talking about breaking the gang bang record and she said that they used fluffers to prep the guys and bring them to the brink, because each guy only had a minute or two with Houston and they wanted as much… ummm… errr… output as they could get.
