I saw just the last few minutes of this program last night, where the sick child went for “treatment,” and when she, her mom, and her heroin-addict-looking brother get back, they have this beautiful new home.

So I missed what medical condition it was. What was it, and was there a good prognosis?

No home remodeling program was broadcast on NBC last night, that I know of. If you’re refering to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that was shown on ABC, the girl had Krabbe’s Disease.
