I hope this is an allowable question. Does anyone know if it’s possible to display Google adsense ads in a Mediawiki site? How? If not, why not? Etc.

I can’t see why you wouldn’t be able to. As for “how”, you click the “Ads by Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooogle” link on any site with Google ads (like, say, this one), and follow the directions.
