Being a good little Smurf, I usually install Windows updates regularly–once a week, to be specific. I have the system set to install only Important and Recommended updates automatically. However, when I ran WU after the 11 December updates came out, Internet Explorer stopped working; I got the same error message I get if I try to use WiFi when no connection is available. I went back to the last previous restore point. How can I determinewhich of the updates caused the problem (short of installing them 1 at a time, rebooting, and trying to get online?)
