To be honest, If I’d had a chance to listen first, I probably wouldn’t have spent the money. It’s not like I have the complete discography anymore, and need this 25 years after effort to be complete.
But it comes with a completely retro 1980’s black square vinyl sticker.
It’s still a Bauhaus albumn, they’re treading no new ground, leaping on no bandwagons. It was like hanging with really good friends, but 20 years after. You’ve both changed. - You remember why you hung so tight, but it’s not the same.
Any other aging ex-Goths mainline this shot of nostalgia yet?
I have only heard the single (which they are playing frequently on a local radio station) and I like it. It sounds like Bauhaus, and that is nice. It isn’t fantastic, and I am not going to go get the album (was never a huge fan, and am not a goth so it isn’t a requierment) but it is nice to hear something new from a band I like.
