Who is the SECOND most annoying/unfunny stand up comic?

I think it’s pretty much been declared in this poll that the Top 'O the Carrot is the most widely reviled stand up in the history of stand up.

But wait, there is still drama waiting to be played out.

Who’s number two? (an appropriate designation, no?)

These four “entertainers” from my first poll were running neck and neck (and neck) (and neck).

So I thought they deserved a four-way cage match.

One vote per customer, please.

And please don’t tell me that I forgot a “you forgot…” option.

Votes are public. Don’t worry, you’ll not be verbally cornholed for picking any of this bunch.
mmm

And my vote, by the way, goes to Andrew Dice Clay.

His vulgar nursery rhyme schtick of many years ago was the stupidest, most inane, unimaginative and unfunny load of feces I’ve ever witnessed in a stand up act.

For your viewing pleasure
mmm

I liked the Diceman because he was so absurdly over the top. You knew, even as you watched it, that he couldn’t possibly be that vulgar, that it was all an act. That’s what made it more funny for me.

Dane Cook, on the other hand, has me convinced that he is exactly what he purports to be, and I do not find him to be even remotely funny.

My vote went to Larry The Cable Guy. It was a tough call between him and Andrew Dice Clay, though. Somehow I’ve managed to avoid Dane Cook, so I really can’t comment on him, though I understand he’s got his share of haters.

Although I haven’t seen or heard anything by Gallagher in many, many years, I do admit a bit of a soft spot for him. When I was much much younger, I would watch his cable specials with my dad, and remember laughing quite a bit. We even saw him live (fourth row center, compete with plastic covering and free rain coats to keep the watermelon bits off of us!). Yeah, his schtick is worn out, and I’m sure I wouldn’t find him nearly as funny these days, but I do have some good memories.

Shouldn’t we turn this into one of those elimination games or something?

Wow, I knew Larry the Cable Guy was not funny, but I never knew how racist some of his routines are.
mmm

These are the exact words I would have used. I endorse this message.

Wow, those are some seriously annoying comedians.

I went with Larry the Cable Guy.

I watch the crowd laughing at his act and I cry for America.

[Dennis Miller] Andrew Dice Clay?: he’s Fonzie, with Tourette syndrome. [/dm]

What about Pauly Shore/

I voted for Dane Cook even though he isn’t really a comedian. As I mentioned in the first thread, he doesn’t even generally tell real jokes. He just acts like a guy at a party trying to make young women laugh with hyper stories that have no purpose. For some reason, lots of them fall for it so he sells lots of tickets at colleges. I have no idea why anyone but young girls would listen to him at all but I got tricked into long enough to know. Dan Cook is an overly precious douche and I hope he takes this round.

In poor taste, but I don’t see anything remotely racist about that link.

Definitely nothing funny there though.

Seriously? Did we listen to the same clip? You know, the one with the guy with the Confederate flag guitar? You didn’t find anything racist. That speaks volumes.

Larry the Cable Guy. His popularity is a national shame.

I only made it to about the :48 point in that clip because wow, that there is some good ol’-fashioned racism for ya.

I originally voted for Gallagher, who used to be a lovable watermelon-smashing comedian but lately has turned into a racist jackass, but now am thinking maybe I should have voted for Larry the Cable Guy instead.

Is Clay still working? I have no trouble with nasty comedians, but he is not funny. That is unforgivable.
