Nope. The “Charter Member” tag is only available to those who subscribed when this board first went pay-to-post, and who have continually renewed that subscription every year since. There will never be any new “Charter Members”. You could, if you wished, become a “Member”, by purchasing an annual subscription for about $15.
There was a time when the board looked like it might disappear through lack of funds.
To raise funds, a one off “charter member” deal was offered by which for a payment posters could obtain charter member status. This entitled the poster to a fancy title, and discounted membership, and the warm inner glow of knowing you had chipped in to keep the boards going.
It isn’t on offer any more.
As the above posters have mentioned, new Charter Membership is no longer offered. It was a one-time deal and if you missed it, that ship has sailed, sorry.
