Today is 09-11-01, in some ISO-like date systems (that forgot the lessons of Y2K, obviously).
I just had to share that.
Mundane. Pointless. 10/10.
There’s an important and related but unmentioned oddity. To most of the world, the date 9/11 means November 9, and suggests Kristallnacht, the “night of breaking glass” which more than any other moment kicked off the Holocaust in Nazi Germany and Austria.
Oddly, November 9th is also the anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling.
And November 9, 1923 is the day authorities in Munich stopped the Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler’s coup d’etat attempt.
Well, there was a strong empathy between the Nazis and Islamic leaders…
November 9 is also my birthday.
