MF Global fired all of its 1,066 brokerage employees on Friday as part of its banruptcy liquidation.

I’ve been downsized, and I’ve been outsourced. I have sympathy for those former employees. The grunts, anyway. Those involved with company policy, not so much.
At least Corzine didn’t get a big severance package - but only because they went bankrupt before they found a sucker to buy it. Which was because lots of customer money went missing.
The article about this in the Times made it seem that they already had their resumes out, since this was no big shock.
