Right, but “illogical patterns of thinking, delusions, and hallucinations” is at least to some extent culturally based. If you live in a culture that thinks demonic possession is normal, than you’re not delusional for believing in it.
Just because its a commonly held belief does not make it logical.

I have been frequently possesed by Miroslav Satan. Not that much happens, but I can all of a sudden ice skate like, well, a man possessed.
I understand that at times, Mother Theresa believed she was possessed by the devil, or was at least actively fighting him off. So, I guess if you can channel your demonic possession into doing great works for the poor, it’s a good thing!
