When is the membership of the SDMB gonna hit 10,000? I forget the time when this MB first started, so I cannot accurately calculate the new members/day ratio. Anyone wanna help me?
Anyone want to make some WAGs? I am guessing we will hit 10,000 by Christmas.
I thought of this thread idea about a week ago. I figured when we hit 9500, I’d start a pool or something.
So, when’s it gonna happen? I say December 8th, the day I graduate from college.

Oh, and the tiebreaker is the number of letters in the 10,000th registered poster’s screen name (spaces don’t count). I say 9.
I don’t get it. How do I see how many people are registered? I clicked on the little “members” button and it said “sorry, the administrators have disabled the members list.” Where do I find out?
Hmm…I was wondering the same thing. I be wishy-washy and say sometime during the last week of November.
Go to the main SDMB page – the one where the forums are listed. Toward the top right there are a couple of statistical notes. Right this minute, there are 9,313 of us.
So we won’t know who the 10,000th registrant is, AFAIK, but the day it rolls over shouldn’t be hard to track. I bet on Nov. 16, my brother’s 37th birthday

it’s the day we celebraite Lucia.
October 30th, the birthday of a friend. And number of characters in SN excluding spaces: 12.
I am guessing 7 letters in the name, and one article of punctuation.
