So I’m watching Fox news. God knows I should not be doing so. But here I am. Watching. And they’re talking about RAINBOW/PUSH. And the newscaster (who’s a real dick btw) brings on someone from the coalition, and starts asking him where the money goes. He keeps shouting, randomly, 12% for administative purposes! The PUSH guy tries to talk to him, and seems to be somewhat evading the question, and is then angrily cut off in mid sentance.
The question is this. For charities and Groups. What is the average ammount for admin purposes? I seem to recal it being around there or higher.
Here are some organizations with their “administrative and fundraising expenses” as a percentage of income. I got this from the 2000 National/International Organization page on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s Combined Federal Campaign website at http://www.opm.gov/cfc/natlist/Index.htm.
