The house is currently in my son-in-laws name as they were not married when he began to rehab a row house. Now it is done, and time to refinance, and they both want both names on the deed T by E I assume. Could this possible be accurate. It take a weeks worth of hard work to add one name to a deed. Or are the being ripped off?
See if he can’t quitclaim the house to himself and his wife.
If he currently has a mortgage on the property, he’s gotta do whatever the bank says, though.
