1963 MVP's

I was just reading some of the archives and I came across a mistake. In 1963 Jim Brown was not the NFL MVP.

Which column?

Maybe the OP was referring to the second part of this column?

Didn’t he win the 1963 Thorpe award?

Which award didn’t he win, if you say that someone else won the MVP?

.

The MVP of the NFL in 1963 was Y.A. Tittle, who had led the Giants to their third straight NFL Eastern Division championship. The Giants also lost that year for the third straight time.
Brown was the MVP in 1958 and 1965.

Tittle wore #14

Is this list accurate:

.

The list looked accurate to me. The problem with the NFL is that there is no one MVP award which is sanctioned by the league as baseball, basketball, and hockey have.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame only credits MVPs to players who won the Associated Press award.
