Has anyone seen one of these #2 5/10 lead pencils? What happened to reducing fractions?
Is there a reason not to call it a #2 1/2 or #2.5?
What gives?

No, No, No, That’s Twenty-Five Tenths.
Um, Bboy? Unless my concept of math is seriously screwed up, twenty-five tenths equals two and five tenths.
25/10 = 10/10 + 10/10 + 5/10 = 20/10 + 5/10 = 2 + 5/10
The joke would’ve worked with most other fractions, though…
Um, StephenG, your math’s fine, that was the joke.
