Seriously, lots of people think duck-billed platypus because it is unusual. So it’s a good guess if someone’s thinking of a non-domestic animal. See my example:

I was thinking of sphinx, and it got pyramid, which was close. But then it veered off into telephone poles:

You were thinking of a sphinx.
You said it is classified as Mineral, I say Animal
Does it have short fur? you said No, I say Yes
Is it manufactured? you said Yes, I say No

Was it thinking of a live sphinx? I was thinking of the freaking great statue! It is make of stone, right? And wasn’t spontaneous?

Does it have writing on it? you said Doubtful, I say Probably

OK, that was a guess

Does it break if dropped? you said Irrelevant, I say Probably

OK, it was right. But it’s not like you’d be able to pick it up.

Can it be painted? you said Yes, I say No
Can it cheer you up? you said No, I say Yes

Eh? What do you think happens when you dunk 1000 gallons of paint on it? And it doesn’t cheer me up, unless its dropped on certain politicians.
