I am seeking some advise. I have a 2001 Crown Vic (not p.i) with 71,000 miles. I just had oil changed, fuel filter changed and serpentine belt replaced. I have had some problems with the car dying, after it idols for a bit, when i put it into gear. Now the oil gauge has started bouncing around once in a while. Ideas? I really don’t know anything about cars and can’t afford to be taken to the cleaner (single mom).

I have a 2000 Mustang GT, which has the P.I. 4.6, but I had the same things happen with my car.
My idle problem was caused by the IAC, and my oil pressure gauge bouncing around was do to a dying battery.
Both are cheap and easy to fix. The car now has 145,000 miles and is still going strong.
