Light goes on and off randomly and none of the buttons on the steering wheel have any effect.
Any ideas?
You have a vacuum leak. The cruise control relies on vacuum lines, one is leaking or loose.
Many possibilities. One is faulty rotary electrical contact between steering wheel and steering column.
