As we come to the end of the 2005 Celebrity Death Pool, the question comes to mind as to who is the most famous person who passed away this year that wasn’t listed in anyone’s pool? Who (whom?) did we miss?
I think it goes back to the dreaded “define celebrity” argument. Lotsa musicians, actors, political characters from around the world died this year and none of us picked 'em. I don’t think there were any really obvious ones (like, say, the Pope) we missed.
Johnny Cochran stands out in my mind as possibly the most famous person no one picked.
