In total, our picks have hit 167 HR in 3551 AB (4.70 HR/100 AB)
Last week, our picks hit 5 HR in 72 AB (6.94 HR/100 AB)

Two weeks to go and our overall home run rate continues to rise. Jose Bautista has put me right back in contention, cutting Hawkeyeop’s lead from 5 homers to 2. Bootis and Incensed both recorded the same numbers, meaning that Bootis maintains a 55 AB advantage over Incensed.

Sigh. Stanton over Tulo cost me 6 home-runs. Let’s see if Tulo has another encore in him. I’m hoping to at least get to 40.

Last week, our picks hit 3 HR in 81 AB (3.70 HR/100 AB)

Hawkeyeop takes a 3 home run lead into the final week as well as an 8 at-bat advantage - I’m going to need a big week from CarGo.

Bootis and Incensed continue to match each other homer for homer - the battle for third place is going down to the wire.

Last week, our picks hit 3 HR in 83 AB (3.61 HR/100 AB)

Despite Hawkeyeop failing to get anything out of Hunter Pence, Carlos Gonzalez couldn’t provide the homers I needed to win. Bootis and Incensed finished the season with 3 straight weeks of exactly 1 homer each, meaning that Bootis gets third place by a margin of 61 at-bats.

And so Hawkeyeop is crowned champion - he spent only one day out of first place - and only because at that point I had fewer at-bats; at no point did Hawkeyeop have fewer home runs than anyone else. Congratulations on a well deserved victory.

I hope you all enjoyed playing. Please try again next year - the 2011 season is scheduled to start on Thursday, March 31.
