2010 MLB Home Run Pool

May be too late, but I think Adrian Gonzalez, Padres, can give me 2 more this week.

Standings after week 3:

                  |Season| Week |Rank|

Munch | 55|C. Utley 24| |

In total, our picks have hit 24 HR in 459 AB (5.23 HR/100 AB)
Last week, our picks hit 6 HR in 143 AB (4.20 HR/100 AB)

Not much change in the leaderboard after another fairly slow week. storyteller0910 and wolfman have switched places; with wolfman moving ahead of Incensed due to having fewer at bats.

I’ll take Scott Rolen, Cincinnati for this week.

Disregard the first 4 below; I’m going to keep a running list instead of guys I’ve used instead of having to scroll through the thread each week.

1 Michael Cuddyer
2 Evan Longoria
3 Miguel Cabrera
4 Mark Reynolds

Week 5, Albert Pujols, Cards

My pick for week 5 is Adam Dunn (WSH)

Standings after week 4:

In total, our picks have hit 27 HR in 637 AB (4.24 HR/100 AB)
Last week, our picks hit 3 HR in 178 AB (1.69 HR/100 AB)

What a lousy week for most of us - no dingers at all except for Upton and Reynolds in Saturday’s game, and Nelson Cruz going on the DL meant **storyteller0910 ** only got half a game out of him.

Bootis moves up into a tie for second place, whilst Incensed moves above wolfman into fourth

This week I’ll try Joey Votto, Cincinnati 1B.

Carlos Pena

Chase Utley, PHI

Woo hoo! You know, I strategically was looking to get no homers, but less at bats last week, and it gained me a tie for 2nd!

Andruw Jones for me.

Paul Konerko

wolfman week 5: Matt Holliday

I haven’t looked, and haven’t heard his name called this year…for some reason, after the spectacularly bad season he had last year, I thought he’d retired or something. Is he doing well?

He’s lighting it up. Had a really good April.

Unlike me. STILL no HRs?!

Carlos is currently 0-20 for the last week. I think I can do this!

Cabrera hit one last night but the game was rained out before the 4th inning. Does his homer count? He hit one.

Nobody’s picked Cabrera (or anybody else that played in that game) this week, so the fact that that game was rained out is irrelevant.

If, however, somebody’s pick plays in a rained out game, then I will go by the official stats. Since the stats for last night’s rain out were scrubbed out, that homer wouldn’t have counted.

Actually they aren’t. As of a couple years ago they just continue a suspended game.
