I think it sucks that NBC is televising the semis on tape delay. If Rafa wins, I’ll be rooting for either Novak or Roger to win the French.
I never have like Nadal and it probably because of his nervous twitches and the ever-present wedgie that he apparently has. But there is no denying his talent or worldwide popularity.

Fed wins the first set!
Djokovic puts a forehand in the net and Federer takes the set, 7-5 in the tiebreak. They’re both playing great here. Federer finished the set with 23 winners and 12 errors, and Djokovic had 18 and 10.
Or they could’ve just set up some freaking lights. They’re not going to have those for several more years.
Is “Hawkeye” not in use here? I keep seeing the umpire getting out of the chair to check ball marks.
Federer takes the second set 6-3, and he had a lot of other cracks at Djokovic’s second serve. Djokovic looks is up 2-0 in the third, but he frustrated and dispirited to me.
Novak showed up in the 3rd set and 4th set. Now serving for the 4th set. No chance of completing a 5th set today. They will probably quit for the day after this set if Novak can hold at 5-4.
Federer breaks to level the fourth at 5-5. I was sure they were going to call it there, but Federer is now serving. I guess they’re going to make them finish this set. It’s 9:17 over there and they’re playing without lights. This is a little ridiculous.
I can excuse them for not having lights. I can’t excuse them for starting a 5 set tennis match at 6 pm local time, w/o lights. Stupid decision.
Right, I wouldn’t be complaining about the lights if they weren’t making them play this late without them. It doesn’t look that dark on TV, but trying to hit a tennis ball at 100 mph in the gloaming is difficult and it doesn’t do justice to the tennis they’ve played.
