If I read you right (this late anyway) you must have been calling for a “Pick the Winner” thread/poll for the Oregon-Ohio State game. Even if that wasn’t what you meant, that thread is now up!

No, not that. I was just taking a jab at the whole College Football Playoff idea; the idea that a clear and undisputed champion in College Football is just as ridiculous as someone trying to say I wasn’t the leader in your “Pick The Winner” polls for the Bowl Games. That topic has been beat to death, so I only wanted to make an oblique jab at it. Suffice it to say, and I think I will have a lot of agreement with this, I would have preferred to see Alabama and Oregon go head to head. Seeing Oregon and Ohio State is exactly what we would have had before the BCS, isn’t it?

In that case, excavating (for a mind), I agree wholeheartedly with the putdown. That horse was dead months ago.
I had hoped it would have been Bama and Oregon and that Oregon could have gotten partial justice over the state by beating Auburn’s nemesis. As it is, I’m hoping to see a similar show to the FSU slaughter.
Looks like (10-3 last I looked) most people are expecting the Ducks to dominate.
I just don’t really want a 50-6 massacre!
