Picking Ohio State out of Big Ten pride. Though any team whose only losses are to both of these teams would clearly be #3 in the nation.
I don’t know if there’s anything to the idea, but it would appear that the prognosticators and hypesters are not happy with our results (so far – right now it’s 14 - 5 Oregon) and are trying to pump in some sunshine to persuade bettors that tOSU is going to mop up the field with the Ducks.
Have they changed your mind?

The best we’ve done in these polls/threads that I’ve started since late July was that very first one which had 25 Voters. It may also be worth a note that 14 people who never voted in the regular season threads have done so in the post-season ones. And eight of you are first-timers in this very poll!

I am an ACC fan, proud alumnus of Ga Tech. I really don’t like the SEC but not as much as I dislike the B1G, the SEC has been the best CFB conference for the last 10 years.

There’s some amusing “analysis” of how the country is split on the game at Map shows country split on Ohio State vs. Oregon and since our voters may or may not live in those states that went one way or the other, it may be interesting for those who care to do so to indicate where (at least as far as you’re personally concerned) the map is wrong!
I, from Tennessee, expect the Ducks to win!
I voted Oregon. I went to a Big 10 school, but I just can’t bring myself to root for Ohio State. I’m not sure why–they’ve never done anything to me personally, but I just can’t root for OSU.
Carrington’s going to be lucky if his own team doesn’t take him out back and beat him up.
Missed the poll, but I’m rooting for the Bugeyes. Not sure if I would have voted that way but that’s what my heart said.
