2016 Omnibus College Football Thread

I know the season officially started a few days ago in Australia. But the real season starts tonight with the traditional South Carolina Thursday night game on ESPN.

And boy do we suck again this year! Here’s hoping Muschamp’s recruiting pays off in a couple years, it’s gonna be a long season.

Well the SEC bias in the rankings shows itself early. #9 Tennessee is going to OT tied with Appalacian State.

Over-Rated

I love to see USC get punished, but I really want them to take down Alabama this weekend.

In the meantime, headed to Stanford vs Kansas State tomorrow - go Cardinal!

That didn’t take long!:p:smack:

Well, the real test is where they end up at the end of the season.

With the NFL not starting until next week, we’ll get Sunday night (ND vs Texas) and Monday night (Ole Miss vs. FSU) college football.

Here is a update on the Big XII expansion plans. Memphis and Temple out

Memphis is always a bridesmaid, never a bride.

UCLA has a decent chance to be in the national title hunt this year. But…but…tomorrows game at Texas A&M will be a must win. Josh Rosen is a very gifted Soph QB and we are really deep.

If we lose, an SC blowout loss will dull the pain.

Screw Lane Kiffen!

Just wanted to get that out of the way early.

Lane who? I have selective amnesia.

UCLA plays the big bad Aggies while USC opens with the national champions. Umm, OK…

Our freshman place kicker is a Canadian named Molson…yes, from the brewing family.

At least they weren’t ranked #3, like Oklahoma.

ETA: and #5 LSU is losing to unranked Wisconsin.

Its the first game of the year so things are gonna be a little messy today.

The announcers are having a real good time with this as well.

“Looks like their putting Molson on ice…”

Richmond Spiders beat the Univ. of Virginia (37-20) for the first time in 70 years.

I was listening to that game on the radio.

It’s a new day in Charlottesville…

Not the web?

Big Ten took a trip back to the 70’s. Michigan and OSU big wins and Northwestern embarrassing itself.

Trojans’ D hanging tough with the Tide…
