I’m also in shock, but from the other side of the coin. I’ll go ahead and post my picks: Missouri and Ohio State.
Part of that may just be because I’m an Auburn fan, but honestly, I think I’d pick the same way even if I wasn’t as ridiculously biased as I actually am. I don’t think Missouri can stop Auburn’s rushing attack and I just don’t buy Ohio State as a national championship contender. They did not impress me yesterday. At all.
And Oak, I may be one of the few Auburn fans that actually likes Alabama (with a one week exception, of course), so take this in the good will it’s intended to be. Y’all really need to work on your special teams. It’s your Achilles’s heel, and it’s been that way all season. The Tide is so good that they’ve been able to neglect them, but special teams bit you on the ass yesterday.
I’m picking Mizzou (other than being an unabashed homer) for the opposite reason. I don’t think Auburn can stop Mizzou’s passing attack.
I am also picking Ohio St. to lose because they did not impress me at all yesterday.
If any other situation at the moment existed I’d be rooting for tOSU, but I need them to lose for Mizzou to have a shot at the BCS Championship Game.
Sorry Tigers, but you’ve survived the last two games on miracle plays. That sort of run ends sooner or later. tOSU will beat Michigan St (it won’t be pretty, but it will be effective). Stanford is a team that has been overrated all season and Az St is playing up.
FSU will play Duke close in the 1 and 2Q (and yes, I said that correctly), but get control after that for a pull-up win.
None of the Big12 games really matter*, but Ok State and Baylor both get the win in relatively easy fashion.
*Seriously guys, beg/borrow/steal 12 teams and have a damn Conference Championship like the real Conferences.
I will say that with Clemson last week, I went heart not head. My bad.
I also plead guilty on not believing in Mizzou the week before, so I’m fixing that now! Vegas agrees with me on the Stanford game, so I’m not exactly way out on a limb with this week’s picks.

Feel free to ban me from these threads, but I just realized that I forgot to mark Michigan St (someone has to lose that game). I’ve gotta stop filling out the poll so quickly.
Judging by the first half, I think we’re both right. Auburn, I think, has already has already exceded the most rushing yards allowed by Missouri in a game this season. And it’s only halftime! On the flip side, Mizzou’s passing attack is gashing us when y’all need it to and there is only a one point difference.
AU gets the ball first in the second half. Damn, this is a good game.
