Last week, Frankenstein died at 100.
No, not that one; this is a holocaust survivor that succeeded in hiding in Berlin, no less, during the Nazi days!
Dick Barnett, whose unorthodox left-handed “Fall Back Baby” jumper thrilled Knicks fans en route to the team’s 1970 NBA championship and who later authored multiple books, earned a doctorate from Fordham University and taught classes in sports management at St. John’s, has died, the Knicks announced Sunday. Barnett, a source said, died in his sleep this weekend in a senior living center in Largo, Fla. He was 88.
“While a limping Willis Reed inspired his team and Walt Frazier played the game of his life in Game 7 of those 1970 Finals, the overlooked Barnett scored 21 points in the decisive game and had taken on the responsibility of guarding Jerry West for most of that series. Barnett was also part of the 1973 championship Knicks team. His No. 12 was retired by the team in 1990.”
Former PGATour Golfer JC Snead dead at age 84.
He had 8 PGATour wins, 74 fewer than his Uncle Sam.
That drag race seems to be dangerous:
Since the franchise began in 2009, the reality show has been hit by the deaths of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK stars Cherry Valentine, 28, and The Vivienne, 32, as well as US competitors Sahara Davenport, 27, and Chi Chi DeVayne, 34.
That is 279 points in 16 years, or an average of more than 17 per year. Plus the current case of Jiggly Caliente. For a themed death pool this franchise seems more promising than the football players I chose.
MTT has now conducted his last concert.
He’s not dead. He’s just retired. And 80 years old. And still has a brain tumor. So who knows.
Drag Race and pro wrestling are tied for life expectancy and flamboyant fashion.
It’s no longer an issue, but keyboard player for the Grateful Dead was statistically very dangerous.
Stan Love, who had a 4-year career in professional basketball, has died at age 76. Love was better known as the father of NBA all-star Kevin Love. He was also the younger brother of Mike Love, a member of the Beach Boys.

@Baker - not that it matters yet - but did you get my username changed from NotherYinzer to Reeses_Monkey?
I didn’t hear about it but I will change it.
Congrats!
Zero points, but actress Priscilla Pointer has died.
David Horowitz, the man who gave us Stephen Miller, dead at 86.
The spin:
The reality:

I suspect most of you will have the same views as I about exactly how tragic his passing was.
Uh, a white supremacist of sorts, then? Or at least extremely xenophobic/ethnocentric?
The phrase “the man who gave us Stephen Miller” should be a clue. And also the fact that FoxNews is praising him.
His main shtick was hawking the “universities are pushing radical leftist agendas” nonsense, but he was also rabidly anti-Muslim and complained about “anti-white racism” in various contexts including those of lynching and reparations.
