Cracked put together a list of 21 misguided school polices from various countries. I’ve seen several of these in the news in the past couple years.
Its remarkable how misguided stupidity is universal across this planet. Some of these school policy makers lack enough common sense to even find their ass with both hands.
Three of my favorites.
- Four year old kid that uses sign language banned from signing his name.
- The school cafeteria that charged a mom $10 for supplementing her kid’s sack lunch (roast beef , carrots, potatoes and an orange) with crackers. We actually have food monitors meticulously checking every kid’s sack lunch? Wow. How long does it take to inspect several hundred sack lunches?
- School’s social media specialist fired for posting tutorial on homophones. Because you know, it sounds Gay. :rolleyes:
Cracked can do a Part 2 article next year. Just this week a Detroit school refused entry to a father in military uniform because it might offend students. Yep, Colonel Sherwood Baker can command a base with several thousand men, but is a threat to the student’s delicate sensibilities in this school. There’s no shortage of stupidity on this planet. Cracked can compile these lists forever.
