Can the President give pardons for state crimes, like murder?
Silly? Yes. Completely and hilariously awesome? Also yes. 
Though it is a little annoying that they seem to be playing up the knife wound this time around. Renee stabbed him right in the SIM card holder and it was barely a few minutes’ inconvenience. Now this Russian guy gives him a little poke through his leather jacket and we’re supposed to be all worried?
Jack on a rampage for the end of the series! This is just like how I hoped the series would end!
It was nice when Jack caught a round on the helmet, though.

Seriously, Logan’s freakout when Jack was stalking down the ramp in the tunnel was great, but what really took it beautifully over the top for me was when the Secret Service agent next to the car shot Jack, who, while wearing a mask, mind you, twitched just like Michael Myers and kept coming.
In the defense of the armors, they do actually have facemask armor that will stop a 9mm.
Did Logan just fall for the same faux-torture-bugging ploy that he fell for in Season 5’s finale?
In the 24verse? I think so.
I’m not sure, but no one has ever accused him of being smart.
I thought this episode was awesome. Badass Darth Bauer had me laughing maniacally. Way over the top? Yes, but awesome over the top…the carnage of the Russian room, everything in this episode rocked. If this were a middle season or something, it would be way stupid, but in the final run, it’s just fantastic.
As to how Jack’s going to get out of it? I don’t think there’s any chance of that now…he’s not living through this day.
You don’t think he can live through this day and go into hiding?
So does this mean that we don’t get to elect Jack as President in 2012?
…but…they’ve already said that they’re going to start doing movies…?

OK, I just caught this episode on Hulu. Darth Bauer (and Logan’s squealing) was just too much! I loved every second of it.
But one thing has me confused. The thumbnail for this episode on Hulu is Chloe bursting through a door in a white room with gun drawn. Did I miss that part in the episde? Or is Hulu cowering before the awesomeness that is Jack.
I don’t recall any brandishing of weaponry by Chloe in this episode either, JB.
Didn’t Chloe just carry a gun with her to give to Cole when she got him released from holding? Maybe that’s the gun bit.
Just looked at the Hulu thumbnail JB referred to. Nope – don’t remember anything like that either.
