I’m out of your age range, but I suggest nothing but a non-scented deodorant.
I liked some type of spray Nautica had…wasn’t too overpowering. Can’t stand Axe, all of them smell vile and like awkward teenager. I’d go for something weak smelling if that makes sense. I swear 95% of the male-targeted scents are just too strong and make any guy smell like an old man. I’d rather just smell the guy for himself, or a little deodorant scent, than anything overpowering.

I am not a woman, but I’ve never known one that expected me to wear any kind of scent and especially not a body spray. I’ll always err on the side of my natural scent, as it has served me well. I try to use unscented cleansers on my body and clothes and the most neutral anti-perspirant (usually some kind of Old Spice) possible.
Body sprays have always seemed to me as some kind of marketing ploy, and idea of a “non-douchey body spray” somewhat of an oxymoron.
I would recommend using whatever scents you personally like and want to use and not worry too much about what random women think, as you will likely get a wide range of opinions that really don’t tell you anything.
I’m outside of your age range. Clean body and deodorant. That’s all you need. I would much rather smell my man’s natural scent than any cologne.
Something manly and musky for a formal night on the town can be nice. But I generally just love his natural scent.
