This beautifully animated commercial from Airbnb tells the story of two former Berlin Wall border guards who were reunited by a chance encounter through the lodging website. The ad, launched by Airbnb to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the wall, describes how Jorg and Kai finally met after Jorg’s daughter booked him a trip to East Berlin via Airbnb in 2012, and they ended up at Kai’s house.
